The Thiourea Accelerators have low promotion performance and poor scorch resistance. In addition to the chloroprene rubber and chlorinated polyethylene used for the promotion and cross-linking function, other diene rubbers are rarely used.
New thiourea accelerators are currently investigating new types of accelerators in order to obtain accelerators with high vulcanization acceleration, good process safety, good resistance to reversion, and high aging resistance. (2) Such accelerators as thiocarbamoyl sulfenamide mainly include N-oxydiethylenethiocarbamoyl-N-oxydiethylene sulfenamide. Such accelerators have high safety and cure speed. Fast, great promotion. Suitable for styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber and other general-purpose synthetic rubber. The amount of vulcanizate used was 0.67 parts faster than 1 part sulphonylation accelerator. When partially or completely replacing sulfur, the heat resistance of the vulcanizate can be improved, and vulcanization reversion and compression deformation properties can be improved at high temperature vulcanization. It is an excellent accelerator in EPDM rubber, safe in operation, fast in vulcanization, excellent in heat resistance and non-blooming, and excellent in resistance to compression deformation. Unlike many other accelerators and sulfur and sulfur donors, it does not cause degradation when the polyester fiber is in contact with rubber.
