Antioxidants RD and Antioxidants 124
The antioxidant RD and the antioxidant 124 are composed of the same chemical composition. The difference is that the antioxidant RD is in the form of a resin and the antioxidant 124 is in a powder form. The antioxidant RD is an amber to off-white resin powder and is non-toxic. The softening point is not lower than 74°C. Antioxidant 124 is an off-white powder with a melting point of 114°C. Antioxidants RD and antioxidant 124 are soluble in acetone, benzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide; slightly soluble in petroleum hydrocarbons and insoluble in water. Contaminated but not significant. Not easy to bloom, no effect on vulcanization. Combustible, non-toxic. Suitable for natural rubber, styrene butadiene, fixed eye and other synthetic rubber, the amount is generally 0.5 to 3 copies.
